It's been a long time.
I know I haven't uploaded here regularly in a long time. It's not much of a surprise that once AI "art" became prevalent, I pretty much abandoned this place altogether. Seeing a site that I once truly loved flooded and besieged by AI garbage hurts. But... I may start posting here again. Apologies beforehand, though, if there's a big juicy watermark on everything going forward, lol. Deviantart still has a lot of traffic and reach--something that as a freelance artist is hard to ignore.
I have been improving behind the scenes, though. My current gallery doesn't reflect my real body of work. I still have a lot of growing to do, art-wise, but I've been experimenting with new techniques and improving skills since I've been gone. My Twitter/X page has a fair bit on it, but that's... well, Twitter/X is a dumpster fire these days, too, and I don't find myself visiting that place very often anymore--especially to post art. However, I do have a Bluesky account: same name as here and everywhere else, if you want to find me there.
Anyway. I think I will get back into posting here. It might take me a while to get back into the swing of things. We'll see.

1) At the moment what is your favourite TV show?
Supernatural. I just got into it a while back, and it was interesting, so it stuck. But my all time favorite TV show is a toss-up between Doctor Who and Star Trek Voyager. Leaning a lot toward Doctor Who.
2) What was the last film you watched?
Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl.
3) Why did you join dA?
I wanted a place to gather up my art into one gallery, and to get feedback. This was the best spot that I knew of at the time. Still is, really; I haven't been looking for another.
4) Why did you call yourself that?
Galanor is a name I've been using for roundabout ten years now. The Brighteye tagged onto it is just a name that I liked, since it denotes slyness and creativity.
5) What country would you really like to visit?
Ireland, or New Zealand. Or both! >:3
6) What do you do when you procrastinate?
Minecraft, mostly. Read, watch Netflix movies, draw. It varies; I have a hard time sitting in one spot for more than a few hours. There are times when I can't sit through a full movie.
7) If you could only ever read one book for the rest of your life, what book would that be?
Man, this is a hard one.... probably the Lord of the Rings. That's technically one book... right?
8) Name a song that makes you happy
Footloose! I can't stay sad when that or similar songs are playing.
9) Chocolate or jelly sweets?
Hm.... I like both. I tend to go toward fruit flavors, though, so jelly.
10) What is in your opinion the best thing in the world?

Edit: Finally got all of them uploaded; it took AGES. Also, due to stupid "copyright infringement" for me using copyrighted music (even though I'm not making a financial gain from it, I'm not claiming it as my own, and it's not the main purpose of the videos so it should be included under fair use laws) I guess I'm going to either post the next parts of this series without sound or with uncopyrighted music (is there a such thing? ._. ) So yeah. Bleh.
I love the film scores that I've been using and I don't want to part with them. I'd rather the videos just be soundless. D:< But eh, what can you do?
